Our client for this project desired a modern privacy solution to replace an existing fence, aiming to create a more inviting and contemporary garden space. ARDA began the project by carefully removing the old fence. We then designed and built a bespoke privacy screen featuring pressure-treated timber battens (50mm x 25mm). These battens offer superior durability and resistance to the elements, ensuring a long lifespan for the new structure. To maximise strength and longevity (expecting a life of up to 15 years), we installed four posts per bay (one more than industry standard), each secured with substantial 600mm concrete footings. Finally, the battens were meticulously attached using a double nail gun application, providing added resilience against wear and tear.
The result was a striking visual upgrade, transforming the garden with a modern privacy solution. ARDA’s emphasis on quality materials and construction techniques ensures a beautiful and functional screen that will enhance our client’s outdoor space for many years to come.
